Part of the reason I'm interested in what appears to be the beginning of a change in messaging from Geert is because Dan Sirotkin has long predicted that the virus would eventually overcome natural immunity because of Original Antigenic Sin. He also said the chimeric nature of the virus would make it overcome natural immunity more readily.
His father is Karl Sirotkin of Ft. Detrick. They wrote a paper about the virus together.
I found a study about a year ago (didn't save the link) that suggested Sirotkin was right and discussed it with him. The study essentially showed that the chimeric nature of the virus was already beginning to confuse the immune system with its new variants. (I'm not a scientist, so that's my best translation.)
No need for everyone to jump on me hysterically. I'm unvaxxed and preferred Geert's "you're safe" messaging. I'm merely pointing out what I perceive as a subtle change in Geert's messaging that reminds me of what other scientists familiar with our bioweapons are saying.
As more information comes in positions will change and the protocols will need adjusting. The folks over at flccc.net have done a great job updating their protocols for the various variants.
Given that this came out of a bio-weapons program anything is possible but some like the late Dr Luc Montagnier thought that the virus would discard the edits over time and revert to less lethal.
You're backpedaling on what you originally claimed.
It went from "the unvaccinated will all die due to the hubris of the vaccinated driving viral evolution" to "Geert has subtly been slightly sort of changing his message to perhaps suggest there might be some slight greater damage to the unvaccinated"
You used Geert's name to push a theory you had. Geert has been consistent that the unvaccinated will be fine overall.
Show me where I said the unvaxxed would all die of hubris.
See, these kinds of extreme statements are why we can't get anywhere on the subjects of this virus and vax.
I said Geert was now saying those with natural immunity could be harmed by a future variant that overcame their immunity. I linked to where he said it. It seems to me he said it pretty clearly.
When you expressed disbelief, I pointed out he had also said recently that the unvaxxed were safe "for the next variant" or "for this variant". Something like that. This was the first time I had seen him modify his reassurance in this way.
And again, the new messaging appears to match what a Ft. Detrick scientist and his Harvard-trained son are saying. You can find Dan Sirotkin on Twitter at @Harvard2H. He can be impatient with questions, but I have talked with him extensively.
I will not be replying to you or anyone else again on this subject. I provided the link.

But we all starve so it's moot no?
