If there is no limiting principal to your belief system, such as man is fallible and inherently selfish, you believe that utopia can exist this side of Heaven. And if you buy into the Rawlsian notion that institutions are the problem, not man’s nature , then why would you ever cease your March towards perfecting them?
The problem with the left (and most people, to be honest) is that they do not understand the species to which they belong. Man has not changed since he first stood up on two legs.
