We did not read Tale of Two Cities, but the others yes. Also Grapes of Wrath and Moby Dick ( neither of which is enjoyec)
We had to read many California authors. I might not have read Jack London or Buck or . . . but I got through them and appreciated them. Honestly, while I reread many books, most of those aren’t on my reread list
