Yes. The "this is a vaccine, so _____" argument really made me lose my respect for my doctor.

A cat is a dog.

Dogs bark.

Therefore, cats bark.

You can't win an argument an argument with someone who calls you unqualified to argue with the first sentence and tells you it is the consensus among veterinarians and biologists. She will look at you superciliously and say, "The claim that a cat is not a dog is a bizarre conspiracy theory. It is not supported by the scientific literature." And then she will show you proof of a cat barking because it does happen-- see? Cats are dogs.

I find, “Do you still prescribe statins to your patients with high cholesterol?” to be a conversation stopper.

My husband is on 2 of them. I don't like it. He had a heart attack, not jabbed, 2 weeks ago. Now on 5 meds. Never had cholesterol problems before. I can't talk to him about it. He rolls his eyes. Wish I knew where or what to show him about these. I worry about side effects and what comes next.
