many patients have their vaccinate carried in non-structured comments fields so when you do a database search/table join they show as unvaxxed because the data was not entered in a searchable format.
it's a known issue and it seems to be being exploited for political purposes.
Yes, one of the nurses from America's Frontline Nurses said the same thing. And she also mentioned that they will not give full credit for being "vaccinated" unless you have received the booster. So, whereas UK will delineate between one shot, two shots, boosted, etc... USA is binary - vaxxed (boosted) or un-vaxxed (any permutation of not-boosted).
oh wow, thanks for explaining that. I keep telling people to look at the ages of the hospitalized/deaths as it is a very close proxy for vax status...but a lot of places really hide that age data. I wonder why.....
