There is an answer and cure for contempt. It is found in the forgiveness that comes thru Jesus, His Spirit, and the Word. One's priorities and focus can be changed, new life and direction can be found. "So then Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Romans 10:17 Be....in it.
Mortal life is too short not to experience the Hope, Joy, and Peace that comes in knowing Him.

I thought their faith was in themselves....the fed gov being an extension of themselves.
