I dislike Trump as well. I just have more contempt for the left than contempt for Trump.

I do not LOVE Trump, I do not dislike him. . . uh, excessively. I accept him for who he IS. period.

Never, will any ONE person satisfy every requirement and ideals for THE perfect president. It always has been and always will be:

Vote for the candidate with the least flaws from the ideal.

The way I see it is the United States needs a junkyard dog to save us from all of the mischief of the last four or five decades. Trump is that junkyard dog.

I don't have to love my junkyard dog, but I do appreciate that if anyone tries to get into my yard my dog will take care of it.

This is what so many people miss. My sisters are extremely liberal and can't understand why I like trump. I don't want to date the man. I don't want to marry him. But I do appreciate that he works 20 hours a day **for free** for us to save this country from the absolute abysmal misery that the left has imposed upon us.

He's not uniparty, he's not a fascist. And he certainly is not authoritarian. But he is a strong human being, and after what he's been put through, More power to him.

The left has completely lost their mind. They have become violent, fascist, unhinged bullies. I was a Democrat for many years. But after I saw the damage that Obama was doing to the country, I moved to the right very quickly. And personally I don't understand how anyone and their right mind can support what has become of the Democrat party.

It is not lost on me that ever since the Democrat party was formed, they have always had enforcers. That's not something that you see on the right. They had the KKK, they have antifa, they have BLM, and now they have violence from what used to be everyday people who suddenly have been given permission to go completely unhinged.

And it's terrifying. Especially for them. Someday the cognitive dissonance will end, and they will look back on what they have wrought and wonder what the hell happened to them..

The left's relentless drive to make everyone into interchangeable widgets (which always was fated to end up at trans-trenderism) means they think it's actually a good argument to screech that Christians shouldn't support Trump because he's been divorced multiple times. The idea that I'm voting for him to be my President, not my pastor, never occurs to them.

Fantastic Post-- specially coming from an ex-Democrat. Really, amazing.

It is SO good to hear there are rational humans over there yet to make the jump across the abyss you have made.

Who knows, maybe even my daughter(AF intelligence!) may see the light. . . but, I am not holding my breath there.

Patience grasshopper. Awakening takes time. The common denominator on the left is arrogance. When you know it all, your ego won't let you see other paths. Age and getting battered by reality has a way of opening eyes.

In my case it was personal. And maybe it's always that way. A personal business loss that made me rethink my decisions and look for new solutions. New solutions that disabused me of my all knowing intellect.

Humility is a powerful motivator. After years of pushing back, I saw the truth in things friends told me.

So keep gently offering information. No accusations. Just, "Has it occurred to you that..." And let them store it for later... Good luck and God bless!!

ItтАЩs not about winning a popularity contest. HeтАЩs got a tough jobтАФreversing the deliberate damage inflicted on this nation by others whoтАЩd rather see it crumble. The deep state doesnтАЩt care about anything except clinging to absolute power, no matter the cost. At least heтАЩs willing to take it on.

EveryoneтАЩs got their taste. IтАЩm glad heтАЩs our PresidentтАФlove that junkyard dog grit. Sure, heтАЩs about as polished as a rusted chain, but thatтАЩs a trade-off IтАЩll take any day.

I suppose living in SF has sensitized you to testosterone. Trump knows what fork to use and he speaks his mind. I appreciate that in a leader.

I was not referring to you amigo. It was a comment aimed at the lack of men living like God intended in SF as a whole.
