What else could we expect if you're taught to hate yourself? I mean if you hate yourself it's almost certain you'll hate other people in order to justify your own hatred.
Progressivism terminus is hate.
- It teaches white people to hate their race
- boys to hate their sex
- girls to hate their femininity
- Americans to hate their country
- westerners to hate their history
There is good news tho.
My twins are 14 and there's definitely a change back to first principles by gen z. I see it with all their friends.
They've just had enough and aren't buying it anymore.
My 2 boys are the same. Both gen z in there 20’s and are totally turned off by all that is fake and gay being pumped out by the old media. If Trump doesn’t nothing else besides destroy the globohomo indoctrination that’s going on, the left will return to the fringes where it belongs. A lot of room in the center for people to debate actual policy choices, like it was back in the 90’s even. I voted Clinton his first term, saw him as a blue dog Democrat, a guy you could easily sit and have a beer with and watch a football game. Of course now I know the guy was a total scam, but back then we just argued about policies, and most of the time ended up somewhere near the middle. That’s gone for me now. Can’t think of 1 Democrat politician I’d wanna have a beer with. They are all unhinged, and live in some sort of alternate universe.
It’s so heartening to hear that the next generation might break the spell that we’ve been under.
There was a massive cultural shift that happened in the 1970’s and it was propagated in part by the entertainment industry. We did an experiment that I recommend in order to see it unfold with your own eyes: Pick three random sitcoms, one each from the 50s, 60’s, and 70’s and societal changes and observe the maintenance of cultural standards until the 70’s when things get really weird. We chose:
Ozzie and Harriet (50’s) - Family lives in house in suburbs, neighbors all intact families with kids, dad wears nice classic suits and drives to work, stay at home mom (so one income but affluent) and wears tasteful dresses, kids are polite and active, everything just has a “normal” vibe.
Leave It to Beaver (60’s) - Exact same cultural artifacts and dialogue reflects ethical lessons for their kids.
and Bob Newhart (70’s) - Childless couple that lives in an urban apartment, most friends are single but early middle age, husband takes the train to work, wife works as teacher (so two incomes for a lower living standard), man’s suits are tasteless brown and yellow plaid with 10” wide lapels and ridiculous neckties, woman wears pants or short skirts and flashes cleavage, dialogue with much sexual innuendo, strange and alienated cultural vibe.
If you go out to the 90’s you have Seinfeld which is funny as hell but the cultural shift has extended and set like concrete.
And now currently the shows are all tedious, unfunny, preachy, and filled with all kinds of odd, maladapted people.
I love hearing that more & more young people are reaching their WTH moments & developing more good old common sense. I appreciate the addl hope that gives this Gramma!
Your list is accurate. Hate is a negative emotion, it lets other people have space in your head. Hate chains you to what you despise. It's a form of insanity. Fomentation of hate is an effort to undermine our identity and question our morals and beliefs. It turns otherwise good people against one another. You don't know the power of the dark side! :-)
Hate is exactly the reason I left so cal 25 years ago. I could feel myself becoming a hater, something I had never been in my life. I didn't want that for me or for my children and I was cognizant enough to know that even if I didn't say it out loud,my kids would internalize what they would see in me even if not able to describe it ( my youngest was 4). We moved to Idaho, which had gotten a bad rap,but I knew 2 people from there and they were kind hearted non hating people. What I found here was people, mostly from other places, that just wanted to talk to you, hold doors open for you, wave at you even though they didn't know you, teenagers that were friendly and people that just wanted to live their lives and be happy doing it. It was nothing like I was told it would be! The only thing they did hate was for people from Cali to come here and treat them like they were stupid bumpkins and try to change the place into a mini California. It has changed here a lot over the years, exactly because of wealthy democrats coming in,buying everything up, running for local political positions as conservatives and voting in stupid Cali style laws and driving the less fortunate out of their birth state. They simply cannot make the connection between their politics and the misery they came here to escape. But I still love this place and can't imagine living any where else. I am consumed with happiness, feel truly blessed and have taken up the good fight but I refuse to be hateful.
It definitely gets old. I found myself driving in circles many days in a row in the abandoned lot where some jackass tried to sexually assault me. I wanted to run him over. I realized my mental state was corrosive and managed to stop, and move on. It was most definitely a form of insanity - you’re spot on about that!
Hate causes an adrenal gland outburst of metabolic inflammation; cortisol, epinephrine, norepinephrine, testosterone, and a myriad to cause system inflammation. Hate "hard enough" or for long periods of time greater than 90-minutes can result in the release of endogenous morphine, a.k.a. endorphins. Hatred is a self-serving addiction that will slowly kill the hater over time. Hate dose not age well.

Yeah it's actually really amazing how fast things have changed. Especially with boys.
Which let's be honest most females usually end up supporting the same ideals/ideology their boyfriends/husband's identify with.
My boy told me it has become "cool" to be a Trump supporters at school. Big difference from just a few years ago.

Yes. Hate is the most stable of conditions/emotions.
If you harbor it, it will come for you too.
Its just insane. Wouldn't it get old having that much hate in your heart?

Oh goodness, im sorry. .
That had to be something very difficult to overcome.
But you're right. It's probably the only way to "heal" yourself.
"I don't trust loyalty. Hate is far more reliable." - some Roman general referring to his soldiers' motivation.
