It wasn't just the 'horrible Bush', there was Cheney and the R's were running their version of the Senile Old Git/Ambitiously Stupid Woman ticket. A lot of people were running from that. And Obama was not Hillary. That was another factor.
Obama said the right things, like being for scaling down militarization and 'no mandates' on the crappy Romney health plan the D's were all swooning for. He broke those promises within weeks of getting into office. It certainly was instructive to see the Bush-era policies being adopted by the D's because it was OK when they did those things.
Also when those of us complained that Obama's real background was totally blocked, we were called "racist." Now we know he bought his undergrad degree, stole his social sec. number, was CIA in training, and thanks to researcher Susan Daniels, it appears he was born in Vancouver. If his father was Obama Sr then he is a dual citizen and not eligible. I am still mad that the evil Deep State whoever they are, were successful to overcome the protests of us honest people, and get him installed for two terms. Many people I know did not vote for him the second term and that seems to have involved cheating. People were catching on to the lies.
