I think the whole world CAN see what an asshole Trudeau is. But until he irritates enough people high up, or until the 'plebs' put his head in a guillotine, things will probably continue as is.
The problem is that sweeping change from the general populace generally only happens when they have NOTHING to lose. They, just like Australians, have plenty to lose, still. So the game is far from over :-(
And yes, I whole-heartedly agree that a population should be able to not just air their grievances, but have their grievances properly addressed. Unfortunately we are accepting too little and not pushing these bastards far enough to get what it is we REALLY want: our freedom. Too many are satisfied with a roof over their head and SOME food on the shelves at supermarkets and an ability to mostly get around. Perhaps when there is NO food on the shelves and NO ability to get around without martial law in place, well, maybe most people will wake up by then?! But it will be too late by then, so we need to act now - but most don't see the need to act now. As you can understand, humanity is stuck in limbo-land right now, where we're screwed either way. We will have a big hole to climb out of when we finally start that ascent.
