Lots of fawning going on in these e-mails. No wonder Fauci has a big head. It seems to me that Fauci isn't very careful with his words. On March 2 (page 70), an e-mail shows that Fauci knew the 2% mortality rate to be "uncertain." Yet when a health reporter from The Wall Street Journal e-mailed him about the mortality rate, he replied that the mortality rate was "approximately 2%." No mention of uncertainty there. I can't say it was willful lying because I don't have access to his headspace, but 2% is a scary number that led to a whole lot of fear. It was certainly not a very responsible reply.

there is a demographic that has a 2% cfr, I knew since wuhan data in feb 2020: aged and infirm has a 2% cfr. fauci and the narrative keyed on a small demographic.

i argued it on an econ blog that the fatal rate was mostly old and sick: the never trumpers said: all lives matter while krugman of nobel badge (&Reich) said slashing gdp is not worth a grandma dying...... to oust trump

all this before 3/16/2020, a day that will live in defamation......

the masters and their schills used the narrative and any disagreement is apostasy.

That's a sneaky way to deal with numbers indeed.
