I follow some hopeful insta pages, Rebel News, CounterSignal, Druthers, and True North. Plus some you tubers. Helps me feel less alone in my beliefs here. Early on, when I first started waking up, I truly felt isolated and hopeless. But now I see that a lot of Canadians are awake/emerging. Hopefully more will and…hopefully it’s not too late.
I live in Manitoba and barely know anybody who is truly awake. If it wasn't for substack, I would go insane but, as things drag on with no end in sight, I fear I won't be able to hold it together for much longer. So much anger and frustration.
I feel your pain. I briefly attended Action 4 Canada meetings, which helped me connect with other likeminded people in real life (even in Vancouver!!)…plus I attend rallies when I can. See if you can find any near where you are. You’ll feel so much better.
We made it to the rally last Saturday in Victoria, but not to the conference and banquet. The Hon. Brian Peckford gave the last speech, which is now available as transcript and video on his website: Peckford42.wordpress.com and should be seen.
The admirable Professor Steven Pelech was also present and speaking- he is in Vancouver and is very much worth hearing; there is a fine interview on Rebel News a few months ago.
Tanya Gaw of Action4Canada made an appeal for support and spoke of progress in the legal battles.
I have found a real difficulty in connecting with people on Substack; even when I know they are nearby and like-minded (ie "AndyinBC") there is no obvious way to directly communicate.
This has been my experience, as well. Even those I know who were never afraid of Covid in the first place still got vaccinated so they could continue on with their lives through the mandates.

Yeah I haven’t met anyone from here in real life. I wonder how we could start a local Substacker chapter?!
