7 minutes before Trump was shot, the Left Barn roof snipers behind Trump were using their eyes and binoculars to scan the perimeter. 42 seconds before Trump was shot, they were on their scoped rifles (perhaps they were told by police that bystanders spotted someone on the roof and police were investigating? Perhaps the snipers never got a radio call from the police that someone was on a roof? Maybe the police were waiting to pass word up the chain of command until a cop confirmed the bystanders report? Instead, it's possible the snipers were responding to people pointing at the roof.

If you look at google maps street view around the buildings, you can see several places where the shooter could have used an AC unit or storage shed to access the roof out of sight.
