Nope, kids are grown & out of the house so no worry there. I will never sanction or reconsider evil as being any sort of benevolence for which I would show gratitude. Besides, your CEP could fail to materialize or succeed. One never knows.
None of us can really know what we’ll do or how we’ll act in extremis but my ideal would be to go down fighting or make my own decision for my death, after which the rest wouldn’t much matter
