Did you ultimately have to pay them?

Yeah, we paid them.

We also had some dissenter employees. So, we offered $1,500 severance to any who wanted to quit. 3 (out of about 300) took it. No more whiners after that.

That's some complete BS. You should get that cash back.

Severance packages seem like the best way to go about it....

It was worth it. One of these whiners complained when we catered a Thanksgiving meal for the whole office, but we didn't have individual, celophane wrapped portions. The same individual complained that the free candy jars in the kitchen were not individually wrapped items. Another confessed on the way out that she was the one who initially called the Seattle Health Department to complain that we weren't enforcing mask mandates. We literally had zero problems after those three took the severance and left.

In Canada people had fines reduced, usually by a lot. It just made life stressful not knowing if your 5,000$ ticket would be reduced to $500.00 There's law suits still going on. Some people still got hit with large fines and in some cases, the unvaxxed still face discrimmination especially in employment.

And if you don't know, NY state is trying to implement quarantine camps. See attorney Bobbie Ann Cox substack, she's fighting it.
