I speak from experience here. If you're a street-level ordinary slogan-shouting nobody but fervent and fanatical enough in your protestations, yet intelligent enough to take and execute orders and keep your mouth shut about your new friends (your recruiter and cell), you're on the inside.
How to advance: be useful. It's not about vandalism and the obvious stuff. It's about how much real leverage you can deliver to Antifa as a whole that is the decider for how far you can go.
A community organiser with ties to politicians and the party, and with an academic degree and friends in faculties, publishing, HR-dep. or admissions at a college will go far; someone who tosses Molotovs and spray-paint tags won't.

Then when you arrive with numbers written on your body, you will get arrested, call for attorney and get bail and when the DA drops charges the following week, you keep the money.
