DeSantis has name recognition now, too. Already under attack by the media and the usual suspects and clearly an irritant to the GOP leadership. He hasn't yet been subjected to the full force of retribution by The Party however. If we does take a shot at the big chair, I expect we'll see that ramp up to full suppression mode. The question in my mind is how it will ramp up. Will we see the old-school progression of fabricated scandals and covert campaign surveillance al la 2016 or will the skip straight to FBI raids, charges of insurrection, etc. My money is on the later, it's been more effective. Then the question is how DeSantis handles it and how far it will escalate. It would not be dull ;-)
