I guess my point was: step back! - understand that forest fires are entirely natural events, essential to forest health and growth - fail to understand that (as so many do) and boom! - there's the "climate crisis" wedge (and the e.g. directed energy wedge as well). The claim has been made that this year's Canadian fires are related to too much fire suppression.
