Telegram is incredibly frustrating although most surely the place for raw unfiltered info. But you have to join channels, much like you have to subscribe to substack, but then you get notifications almost continually. I follow a heap of channels and have hundreds or even thousands of posts to wade through if I am game to open it up. Mostly needing to go to the internet to check out thoroughly and it becomes a mind fuck to the nth degree.
yes, using it for one or two channels is probably good, but I am very lacking in the necessary discipline. Almost all the banned people are on there, and hey, if they are banned they are fine by my view. Follow, leading to having uncontrollable info fires to to put out if I even open it up.
The whole internet is a problem for me, but things like wassap (which I no longer have) Discord and Telegram get out of control.

Fortunately, I have a subscriber who monitors Telegram, Twitter, and other outlets and sends me all the stories pertinent to my areas of interestтАФalthough even managing the flood of curated content is overwhelming! I tuck them away in their respective folders and will dive in when I get around to addressing that particular topic, if ever.
Take it from a person who has half a million unread emails in his inbox, there is slightly more info available than one person can get through. Just in medicine there are 153 (approx) studies published every hour, every day of the year.

Thanks for the warning and good to know! I just keep the Dr. Yeadon/Robin/Cory channel open in a tab and scan it every so often. Much less intrusive.
