Sitting in an orgone accumulator would help their health actually and probably helped the wife being joked about, but four hours is longer than typically recommended. Reich was banned by Hitler, Stalin and died in Cold War US prison. I think they took his research. He was never disproven, not even by Einstein who Reich gave one of his orgone collecting boxes to for testing/confirmation. Not disclosing his discoveries is an insider goal.

Facts matter more than bad cat jokes. Yes, wives are super funny to make nasty jokes about - so kitten like. The guy was missing out on a health benefit.

Sheesh. el gato's joke was about politicians. Your first paragraph is illuminating and stands alone just fine. Thanks for the info. Howzabout dial up a notch on the sense of humor?

Anyone who knows the Wilhelm Reich story knows that he died 'in a Cold War US prison.' Far too harsh a punishment. So there's no sense of humor' about it. That image and text was, and is, government brainwashing. Just like the whole Covid deal is. Do you have a sense of humor about the Covid brainwashing ? Discrediting and killing Reich was a psyop. And it was successful. I fail to see the humor in that. That image and text is just like "Ivermectin is horse paste y'all'. Same difference, different time period.

I'm sure el Gato Malo is laughing snarkily about this discourse

What I'm saying is that 'El Gato Malo' made a mistake here, using government psyop materials from the past. So if 'El Gato Malo' is snarkily laughing about this... that's a bit sad. Would he be laughing about Reich dying in prison ?

The people that he sold wooden boxes lined with wool and iron plating as a cure for cancer and schizophrenia might be.

Wilhelm Reich and his Orgone Accumulators helped people. That was his crime. Kind of like the AMA, FDA & CDC do now with Doctors who prescribe early treatment for Covid. And there was no 'iron plating' in them. Steel wool & regular wool. Alternating sheets inside plywood. Do some research before commenting.

You don't dispove - the proponent of a hypothesis or theory must prove it.

Reich argued well for orgasm being the cure-all for neurosis, but never proved neither thatnir the existence of orgone.

And since orgone was supposedly produced by people having orgasms, you can imagine whatthe booths were actually intended for.

Rather, it was all a case of a) Reich not being able to let go of his hobbyhorse-hypothesis of orgasms and their role in psychotherapy, and b) Reich never being able to absolve himself of his guilt of having told his father of the affair his mother had, and Reich's incestous urges relating to that affair, an c) that Reich telling his father led to the father hurting his mother sobadly she committed suicide.

A disturbed, depressed person, carrying that guilt and also the experiences of the world war, finding a saviour-figure in Freud and his made-up unscientific ramblings (as so many others have done), Reich committed the scientific sin of believing his hypothesis true because he believed in it, not because he found proof for it.
