I think it was the eruption of Krakatau in the late 1800 that caused the sky to be so full of dust, that several months or even years it never got quite bright. Could that be a solution ?

Mmm, don't think I'm gonna pray for Old Faithful to blow. Not really. But They might like the idea, up there with bubbles in the sky. But though it's a hot summer we are heading towards a very cold winter. Climate change - it's been with us for millions of years!

Old faithful won't do. That is just water. Krakatau is a serious volcano. Its ashes went all the way up into the outer layers of air. And yes, I totally agree, climate has been changing all the time. Ice ages have come and gone and after all, what do the experts know? What is a human life time compared to the planet? I know that Florida and a large part of Georgia have been under water long time ago. So the water lever in the ocean is now way lower than it once was. And would the rich buy ocean property (Obama, Pelosi) if they believed it true? I just read an article yesterday, that the experts don't believe it themselves!

You're absolutely right, they do not. Al Gore is right on the beach, too. An inconvenient truth. Opinions differ on the Yellowstone super volcano that is (thankfully) vented by Old Faithful. Many have said for years that it would bring about a nuclear winter that would destroy all crops and starve the entire planet. Some say nope, just the U.S. There's a school of thought that says, it would be very, very bad but we would survive. I just hope all discussion is moot. https://sheridanmedia.com/news/47282/scientist-yellowstone-super-volcano-will-erupt-again-and-likely-destroy-u-s/

Oh thanks for the update ! I just read a Newsweek title with some Gore nonsense. I heard about that volcano under Yellowstone, but who knows. Earth does as Earth wants. We are just fleas on a dog. I remember when I was a kid, in the 60s, how gramma would put a large basin out and filled it with water so we could cool down. This was in Belgium. It was hot in summer then, too.

Newsweek was a reliable news source once, now as slanted and censored as the rest of them. All I can read in the dental office is Martha Stewart. It's painful to watch the brainwashing being ramped up (post covid) about the "climate emergency" (not helping that it is in fact a hot summer, at least right now). But yes, Mother Earth does as she wants. It amazes me that people think we have more influence on the weather than Mr. Sun. We've had about 150 years of very stable weather, now we're going into a time of extremes - and this is part of the normal pattern. But They, of course, are taking this ball and running with it. People are being trained to ignore their senses, their common sense and forget their memories, and buy into the hype.
