kitten corner: your doctor, no choice

if you don't like the answer, take away the ability to choose

i am just a kitten and maybe i’m misremembering this, but when people used to ask stuff like

“yeah, but would you want to fly on a plane with a pilot chosen by race not skill?”

or

“would you want a heart surgeon that studied politics instead of medicine?”

didn’t pretty much everyone say “no”?

i guess the DEI people did not like that so now they don’t plan to give you any choice?

i mean, i guess that’s one way to do it, but it doesn’t seem very nice…
