I am part of a local community organization that beginning this month moved to a location where the landlord requires masking (even though no local regulation so requires.) I told my group no thanks, please contact me if that requirement is dropped but until then, consider my membership inactive.
I don't know if anyone else similarly will boycott the group, but at least initially, my ego hopes I'll be missed. In any case, sometimes refusing to participate sends a message, too. I'll miss the people in the group, but I'll let the sheep enjoy themselves without me.

Glad to hear it, just have to put your foot down and say no! I have no doubt you will reconvene at some point, just not today....hang in there!
