I am wondering if people who behave like that, with that reaction, are doing it out of a deep seeded fear that they will be next to drop? Easier to get angry at the truth and it's teller than to admit that you are going to possibly die due to your beliefs in a nefarious Uncle Sam under the umbrella of caring.
And at times become apoplectic about it.
