Regarding the Covid fiasco of the last couple of years, arguments have been presented for viewing it as something ginned up by an evil conspiracy, and as technocratic and/or scientific incompetence (a la Eugyppius). It could be (and likely is) some combination of the two. But whichever of these theories one subscribes to, they both end with the same lesson learned--our so-called "elites" cannot be trusted with our well being.
Two recent Dark Horse with Bret Weinstein podcasts featured various whistleblowers and among others, that topic was treated. Weinstein makes a good point. I don't have a verbatim transcript, so I'll paraphrase it mostly in my own words, no doubt.
I don't like to claim there is a conspiracy to cripple our armed forces [Much of the two podcasts dealt with possible vax injuries to active duty service members and the apparent indifference of the chain of command to even look into the issues.] But when there have been so many decisions and policies that fly in the face of common sense, of claims that are the inversion of known medical science principles, the denial of normal process and even rights, it seems inexplicable solely due to incompetence. If it were more or less random screw-ups or ineptitude, they would not get EVERYTHING exactly wrong -- but that is what seems to be happening.

Speaking solely on my own account, I still am mostly in the "Clever deep staters gamed the system for maximum financial gain," but lately I find myself being won over to the "nebulous evil and apparent cripple our coutnries and take over the world" fringe.
Weinstein has never claimed deliberate malice, but as he and others point out, there are a number of data points that, if one connects the dots, it seems very difficult to come to any other conclusion than someone wants to sabotage the US military. And, I might add, the same methods (mRNA vax mandates) will do the same job on many other critical institutions.
Weinstein didn't mention this, at least on those two podcasts, but I read it some where and repeat it when appropriate: the mRNA vaxxes are, for all practical purposes, ONLY used in "Western" nations (USA, EU, and closely allied nations).
If it's deliberate, the damage will be far more than just our military.
