I'm not a huge AI fan, mostly because of how crazy it gets (fast). However, my experiences with the medical profession in the past 18 mos (but since c*vid) leads to me conclude it can't possibly be worse, as long as it doesn't grow a body and hold us down for treatments (or worse). 15 weeks ago I had the worst healthcare of my life - in ANY country, and I've lived in 3 developing ones - at a major "top" university hospital ER. My son was with me and had spent 4 days in a Ugandan hospital with pneumonia when he was 14. He said, "IHK was WAY better than this..." When your top-in-the-world university hospital system ranks below a Ugandan hospital in service/care/outcome... you've lost the plot.
Here's a major problem: If AI takes over, then its word will be gold and no one will be able to dissent. That is super dangerous, as AI is very faulty.
