The operative word is “programmed” (who writes the algorithms), and who is the interface.
A good doctor would obviously benefit from having an AI assistant, but an AI-dependent doctor would be a little scary. I can’t help but think that Big Pharma, WPATH, the disreputable AMA, and maybe even Planned Parenthood are, as we speak, out there looking for people who can “code” to protect their respective profit centers.
Who are the people currently working on medical AIs; how are they being funded? How are DARPA, and NIH involved. What about things like acupuncture?
