We had a scare with our cat a few weeks ago, and the whole time, while I was concerned for our kitty, I was equally in sorrow for all the people having to choose between a creature they love and going into huge debt. We can afford it, but so many can’t, and it makes me so sad to see the racket it has become. And $10,000 later, we have a few more insights into the potential cause of her issue, but now comes the racket of chemo. We’re going holistic, but everything still costs so much.
