If we can't keep the bug out of nursing homes and jails, where we can control everybody who comes and goes, what chance do we have to keep it out of the general population?
Sadly, nobody has asked any of the 'leaders' this question in the 20 months I've been asking it.
There’s no way to control it. The wheels are falling off and their solution is to force all the patients to stay in their room, make them wear masks and face shields and hope it goes away. Try explaining to an 85 year old dementia patient why they can’t leave their room or see their family. I can’t stomach it.
