I will admit I prickled at the sound of that term when I first heard it and hesitated to use it for the reasons you mentioned, but then I thought embracing it would emphasize the fact that the vaxxed’s blood is tainted and perhaps give them pause. I agree with your arguments, though, and I’ll revert to abstaining from its use.

That said, others have rightly pointed out that “unvaxxed” is not accurate, either, as it implies the vaccination has been “undone” rather than “not done.” They have chosen to use terms such as “non-vaxxed,” which I find rather inelegant.

I had previously coined the terms “GMO humans” vs. “non-GMO humans.” Not sure what you think about that approach, but it taps into people’s discomfort with GMO foods and serves as a reminder (or informer for most) that the vaxxed have been genetically modified.

I’m all for free people against authoritarians and definitely feel that is the heart of the matter.

"That said, others have rightly pointed out that “unvaxxed” is not accurate, either, as it implies the vaccination has been “undone” rather than “not done.”"

i find this framing odd and probably specious.

why would one say that?

"uncircumcised" does not imply "once circumcised and later had foreskin restored."

unrepentant does not imply repentant but no longer so.

i see no real basis for that interpretation. what un based construction works that way?

One of my commenters (https://margaretannaalice.substack.com/p/letter-to-a-colluder-stop-enabling/comments#comment-3175739) wrote a *lengthy* cease-and-desist document (http://werex.org/cease-and-desist-notice-of-libel/) related to this topic, but the gist is:

“People are either *vaccinated* or they are *not-vaccinated*, and once vaccinated, in practice, they cannot be *unvaccinated*.”

Semantics, I know, but I see his point, particularly given the power of language to shape perception.

el gato malo's avatar

that feels like overwrought semantic tail chasing to me.

is literally anyone making a presumption that one can de-vaccinate?

the fun part about "unvaccinated" as our inclusive term is that if they keep moving the goalposts on what "fully vaccinated" means, more and more people will keep finding themselves in our group.

this is a jarring, awakening experience.

for so many here on PR, a demand for a third shot is the bridge too far that jolts them to understanding the situation.

get this and it will work and you get your life back.

then it doesn't and you don't.

now take more or you'll be "unvaxxed."

it breaks credulity.

i like the inclusiveness of them being forced into this label (even if it lacks precision).

*lol* I accede all your points and will revert to using ”unvaxxed” or “unvaccinated” (the latter when I’m trying to persuade a believer to pause, listen, and think), if for no other reason than it’s easier than the clumsy and potentially offensive alternatives.

I think gato is saying it's important not to stigmitize the vaxxed in any way, period.

As painful as it is to accept you've been conned, its that much harder when those who saw through the con mock you or treat you as "other " or stupid.

Given that the vaxxed could be looking at lifelong consequences for their stepping into the trap, approach with compassion.

They are victims, not the perps. There but for the grace of God....

A huge part of our problem right now is that the vaxxed don't want to admit they've been conned - they are in the denial about it - and therefore they are doubling down on coercion so that everyone else can make the same mistake and they can feel better about themselves.

That is a great point. Yes, not just with the shot, but with masks and wiping and all of it. They have no problem spreading their pain and suffering to others, pressuring them to make the same damned fool decision we did. Why should you care about how we feel? The goal is to protect those who have yet to get the shot. We who have, forget about us. There is nothing you can do for us.

We can do something, we can be kind. Many were coerced, forced to make almost impossible choices and need compassion going forward.

That won’t help you save those who are waiting to get vaxxed. There are parents begging and pleading to be able to get the shots for theirs kids. They will not even now you are nearby, forget them hoping to hear your polite gestures. They need to be jolted back to rationality OR given a bigger fright than that which is driving them to get their kids vaxxed.

I have not given up on discouraging this shot - and yes, sometimes forcefully, but do not want to fall into using the same tactics of blame and shame used by the covid cohort. It is not the ones sacrificing their kids who need the compassion but those who truly felt there was no other way out for them.

Stigmatization may have happened already, biologically and indelibly. Should the poison death shot (TM@Dr. Zelenko) change human DNA into trans-human, there will be no reversion. You will have humanity (from God) facing transhumanity (from ???). There is no excaping the issue.

Surviving the Billionaire Wars's avatar

Radiation (not necessarily from God) also can change dna. Does that make people whose dna was changed (say, for example, in a way that caused cancer) to be "transhuman?"

Kitsune, Maskless Crusader.'s avatar

Missing the point. Such people can not cause you to get sick. The are also not likely to try to force you to undergo what they did. Those of us, such as myself, who chose to get the shot for whatever reason have to live with the results. No one can change those results. Forget about us. Focus on saving those who have yet to get the shot. If you have to paint us as ogres to scare the bejesus out of those who are leaning towards the shot for themselves or, God forbid, for their child, have at it. We made our bed, don’t cry about us having to lie in it.

Stigmatizing, naming/shaming, mocking or ignoring the vaxxed won't lead the unvaxxed to remain unvaxxed. Those of us who have refused thus far either already have critical thinking & ability to research intact or are so deep into government distrust they will not break down.

All it does is further divide. Which is exactly what the criminals want. Divide & conquer.

Also, "crying about it" does not equal compassion any more than "crying about it" helps someone who is injured. Compassion would be positively helping them in some way.

As I see it, the unvaxxed have two options in this regard. Save the feelings of we the vaxxed or save the lives of the yet unvaxxed.

Those who are waiting to get vaxxed need a bigger fright than the scary covid monster to get them to change direction. We live in a society where fears of being called bad names, racist, islamophobe for example causes individuals and corporations to make foolish choices. Unvaxxed is another. It works. There are parents begging for approval to have the young kids vaccinated and many of those who do so not so much out fear of the disease but out of fear of they and their kids being labeled as unvaxxed. The only thing beside an attitude adjustment wrench upside the side of the head is the fear of being labeled something worse.

These people, we the vaxxed are screaming for you to be forcefully vaxxed. Judges HAVE taken children away from their parents over social media posts of photos with the family unmasked out side. You need to understand that those who are calling for forced vaccination of YOU and your kids are serious. They are chomping at the bit to inject you. Being polite ain’t gonna stop them.

The division has already occured. We, the vaxxed have separated our selves from you.

The naming and shaming has long since started and it is you, the unvaxxed who are on the receiving end.

The “vaccines” are not vaccines. “Vaccine recipients” are test subjects. Take back the language and call things what they are and let the chips fly where they may. The vast majority do not understand what all the fuss is about. All they know is that if they deviate, they are threatened and called horrible names. To avoid this, they go along to get along. And they will continue to go along to get along right up to and past rounding you up and forcibly injecting you.

We, mankind, are past the time when we have the luxury to worry about hurt feelings if we hope to survive.

No, it just makes them sick, and I should make a distinction here between "damage" and "change". Radiation will certainly cause damage, but that is being spontaneously repaired by our immune system and as long as it works well, there is no permanent change. An experimental gene intervention drug (there is no vax) containing synthetic mRNA with features possibly disabling the innate capability of our bodies to repair themselves in order to achieve a lasting change of the DNA coding is in a league of its own. Even if it were paved with good intentions the road to transhumanism is a road to hell.

I hear you, Mary, and I definitely get that. It is challenging to try and get people to open their eyes without engaging their defenses, particularly when it comes to the diehard believers …

It takes turning off the defenses.

I"ve succeeded exactly once: with a nurse who is s neighbor. We were having a slightly testy conversation that ranged across the surface. I didn't have hard pcr data at that moment, only could say 40 cycles sounded awfully high to me, so *let* her "win" on her (incorrect) claim that pcr+ meant infectious. She followed up with her "lifetime experience in public health." To which I replied "Then perhaps you could answer a question for me."

Leading her to think I was ready to convert enabled her to drop her defenses. I knew the answer to my question. I also knew the answer would be kneejerk from decades of living it.

"Would that cloth mask of yours protect against measles?"

Long pause...whispers "No."

"Would that cloth mask protect against tb? "No."

"For the record, I've checked the dimensions. The tb mycobacteria is ~500x the size of the sarscov virus. 500x the size.". We parted still friendly. She had been shocked back to consciousness.

I saw her a couple months later. We had a brief convo re: vax side effects. It quickly became clear her critical thinking had stayed awake. She paled at the mention of side effects. I let her know the results of the Salk Inst research, that the spike caused the disease. She picked up on the timing of that announcement -- a month or so before the big push to vax. Asked for repeat of date & location with intent to read it.

Wish I could wake up more, but it's really, really hard to maintain sufficient self-control to not come across as nutcase. It was easier when I knew less, lol.

I have nursing students dining disposable gloves when they come into the classroom to spray down and wipe their desks and chairs before and after class wearing masks. My medical technician vocational school demanded that I wear a mask for online classes I conducted from my own home. One of my medical schools has a multi page list of what we are must and must not do at work, during the commute and at home. I am not to dine with anyone out side my house not converse with my family while eating and we are to dine separately. “Snuggling” is expressly prohibited. Yesterday they sent out the booster schedule for all the med. students, all of whom will unthinkingly get it. I, of course do not follow any of this nonsense, but you really think anyone has a prayer taking sense to such people? That day has passed. That battle was lost. Time to move on. We, the vaxxed, are dead to you. Save the remaining unvaxxed.

I’ve never read the Harry Potter series myself, so I didn’t know the context when I first heard it, either. Learning that softened the meaning for me, but I realize there are plenty of people like us, and you’re absolutely right about its potential for weaponization by the *actual* eugenicists 🤦‍♀️

I’m so glad you like non-GMO–human and plan to use it. I’m rather fond of it and agree it should short-circuit the Whole Foods Market crowd ;-)
