OMG, this is great. Just two days ago, I had a heated discussion with my mask-loving sister who said that the only reason my triple-vaxxed elderly parents didn’t get Covid on Easter Sunday was because they were masked 😂😂😂

By the way, these are the same parents who have refused to see their grandchildren and great grandchildren for the past two years because we’re not vaxxed.

The fact that my parents, at 88 & 89, have sacrificed time with us because of assholes like Laurie, is just beyond my comprehension.

AAAGGGHHH

Damn…at nearly 90 you’d think they would want every bit of joy they can get their hands on! Why live in fear? Fear is not freedom. Sad…

Such a weird but common attitude. They seem to think they will live forever but all any of us have is this moment, now, and we should use it. My mother is 88 and it was more important for her to see her family and carry on with normal life than anything else. She is very level- headed.

You’re very lucky. My parents have missed my son’s wedding and the births of two great grandchildren over these two years. They consider us selfish for not complying for them. It’s beyond maddening.

I'm so sorry to hear that. You're right, I am lucky. My mother has great commonsense , not many people do.

Be grateful for all those who DID celebrate with you and your family.

Sorry to be so blunt, BUT…We never know which day will be our last…at any age…but at 88 & 89…you gotta believe the thought of “the end” has crossed their minds. People on their death beds don’t usually say, “I’m glad I stayed away from my loved ones for the last two years of my life”

So sad.

My parents both died in 2018. I am glad they left before this scam started. Living in a senior warehouse community, they would have been isolated in their apartment, I wouldn't have been allowed in, and they would have been subjected to the shots. Both having made it to their 90s, my mother would not have understood and no phone conversation would have helped. My dad wouldn't have been able to hear me over the phone and would have gone along with whatever the staff of the Senior "Dying" Community social workers and medical staff told him. I would have been excluded from their last days - and the thought of one of them dying during such times makes me accept the loss two years earlier easier to accept. I am so sorry for those who have had to navigate caring for elderly parents with unwanted interference from the CDC.

It is so sad to see families torn apart by these insane monsters who somehow were given charge of the rules.. I heard a story -likely one of thousands- of a person who was only able to look through a glass partition, speaking words of comfort through her phone, to her mother as she died, without the comfort of being held by loved ones, in a hospital. It's heartbreaking. Makes me want to sue somebody. Lives screwed up forever.

This is one of the most egregious, disgusting, despicable aspects of the whole thing.
