spot on. the way I see it, mask-clinging is symptom of the terminally comfortable and tragically bored. in the absence of actual hardship, a mask is basically a shitty participation trophy. I was accused of being flippant for saying when I see my neighbors stacked like cord wood I might get concerned. but really… who benefits from fear and panic in any real disaster? it certainly doesn’t increase your chances for survival in any case.
I remember the Covidians asking how many people would have to die before skeptics like me would accept mask mandates, lockdowns, and vax mandates. My answer was always "𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺."
Flippant? Certainly, and deliberately so. Simply put, there is 𝗻𝗼 number of people dying that would get me to accept ineffective, tyrannical diktats from our supposed public servants.
What these people really seem to be asking is how many people would have to die to terrify me sufficiently that I would abandon logic and reason and start desperately begging for any thing that some politician promises will help, despite all the evidence to the contrary... just as they have done.
Again, I am afraid that the answer is "𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺."
I completely agree with your point, Silva. People don't get it. It is terrible if people die; no one wants people to die. What they do not understand is that lockdowns, masks, compulsory "vaccination", and "testing-testing-testing" are not the way to keep people from dying.
I agree too, Silva. And what about all the people dying everyday of everything else all this time? None of those deaths seem to matter to our betters or the covidian true believers.

question:
what's the trick to typing boldface in a comment?
Sites like this one: https://lingojam.com/BoldTextGenerator (I hope that goes through)

I think they absolutely understand what such destructive “mandates” would do in terms of snagging both health & morale
*damaging both health & morale 🙄
We can always dream. (said flippantly of course)
