I think you are right on with this. Sadly our benevolent overlords who tried to stage a coup without blowing up the infrastructure are running out of ploys and they are not going to bait us nicely anymore. The sticks will come out and collateral damage will be necessary. Grocery shopping is already somewhat like gambling for us. Months without sunflower oil and flour. Those are back in stock, but now there’s no rice and toilet paper again. You never know before you go if you’re going to get lucky or come home empty handed. 🤦🏼♀️
