All 3 are valid but many don't far into any of those categories. I've never been abused, I consider myself a spiritual being but was never religious. Not been scapegoated by my family. Life was never easy, one-parent family etc, but never particularly hard.
I would say for most people it's two things predominantly:
1) You cannot be hypnotized. What we are witnessing is a form of mass hypnosis. You might be familiar with the "Mass Psychosis" video from Academy Of Ideas, or maybe Mathias Desmet's work on Mass Formation. This propaganda campaign, aka psychological warfare is a type of hypnosis. It's estimated that 30% of the human race is immune to being hypnotized.
2) A profound mistrust of governmental institutions and the recognition that mainstream media is propaganda.
I would probably add a 3rd as well - an openness to alternate theories. Gasp, yes, conspiracy theories. If you've ever been down one of many rabbit holes, whether they are bullshit or not, and you came to your own conclusions, you are primed to see through this one.
