Went to the AI and asked. Not the quote I wanted but here are a few:
"Reason is not automatic. Those who deny it cannot be conquered by it. Do not count on them. Leave them alone." - In this quote, Rand emphasizes that rational thinking requires active effort and that those who reject it should not be expected to respond reasonably.
"Rationalization is a process of not perceiving reality, but of attempting to make reality fit one's emotions." - This quote captures Rand's critique of rationalization, where people distort facts to align with their preconceived beliefs rather than facing the truth.
"If one recognizes at all that one's goal is to think and to know, then one knows that one cannot avoid making an effort." - Here, Rand points out that intellectual effort is necessary for gaining knowledge, and avoiding thinking leads to ignorance.
"When I disagree with a rational man, I let reality be our final arbiter; if I am right, he will learn; if I am wrong, I will; one of us will win, but both will profit." - Rand stresses that engaging with reality through rational discourse is crucial and beneficial for all parties involved, rather than evading critical thinking.
"The man who lets a leader prescribe his course is a wreck being towed to the scrap heap." - This quote criticizes blind obedience and the avoidance of individual thought, advocating instead for independent thinking and reason.
"The precept: ‘Judge not, that ye be not judged,’ is an abdication of moral responsibility: it is a moral blank check one gives to others in exchange for a moral blank check one expects for oneself." this quote criticizes the avoidance of moral judgment, which she considered part of rational thinking.
"Thinking men cannot be ruled." - In this statement, Rand implies that those who think critically are less likely to be manipulated or controlled, emphasizing the value of rational thought.
"In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit." - This quote suggests that refusing to think through moral principles leads to harmful compromises.
"To fear to face an issue is to believe that the worst is true." - Here, Rand emphasizes that avoiding thinking about a problem can reinforce the perception of negativity rather than resolve it.
"Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all." - "this quote encourages individuals to remain determined and rational, avoiding passive indecision and a lack of resolve.
I don't think the adage" judge not, lest ye be judged" was a commandment, but a warning. similar to, do not talking about the speck in another's eye before removing the plank from your own.
I think we must judge, as it is wired into us. But realize when it comes to others, we should do it from a place of knowing full well what it is we judge because we recognize ourselves in the face of that judgment.
One of my reasons for being against masks, besides them not working, is you do not want me as an advocate for masks. Because, I have a list. The mask at the end of that list will go from a minor inconvenience to a realization that most if not all can wear it consistently effectively, and even if they could, they still would not work.

Wow, thank you for this treasure trove!

I am not going to defend or advocate for Ayn Rand, but for the most part I agree with you.
