You could be describing a lot of the ruling class, but the top prize for matching your description goes to Energy Secretary and former Michigan Governess, Jennifer (Dumb Blonde) Granholm.

The only problem is that just last month Walensky said they wanted to give people a “break” from WuFlu rules which implies that the rules can / will return. I imagine the current Jersey switchers will revert to type & ask for harder & faster if the rules come back. It’s not so different from our “betters” who felt no guilt or shame - much less a need to apologize - when caught flaunting every rule they demanded of us.

They aren’t done w/ this (or the next crisis du jour) by a long shot, IMO

Expand full comment

My biggest worry is that it will turn out that the people who got the shots have permanently compromised their immune system and as a result we'll have legitimately bigger problems, that just don't go away. Like what Alex wrote today.. https://alexberenson.substack.com/p/urgent-covid-infections-in-britain

Expand full comment

With long term effects totally unknown @ this time, it’s hard to know if immunity compromise is temporary or permanent or if there is any protocol to mitigate the damage.

If all of this shit comes back again by Fall & jabs & boosters are again mandated or forced, the more jabs one takes, the more likely is permanent damage & death. I believe that’s a feature, not a bug

Expand full comment

Sadly, yes. And when it comes to the fear-driven mechanism of population control, it has been shown to be most effective to proceed in waves, giving the population some time to "relax" before the next onslaught. This is why we can't let up on pushing to destroy this process, just because they "gave us a break".

Expand full comment

Maybe this IS population control in the sense of reducing our numbers. It's been no secret that many influential individuals and groups have been talking about overpopulation since the 1970's at least. I also do not think that it is a coincidence that the drive to legalize euthanasia (aka assisted suicide) started about the same time that the government and others started saying Social Security was in trouble. When wealthy politicians start calling people like me "deplorables" I pay very close attention. I have learned people may lie about liking you but they NEVER lie about having contempt for you or hating you.

Expand full comment

I don't think we should rule this out. For as much as we know about the dangers of this shot, we don't know for certain what's really in it and what it will do in the long term. What is very clear, is we are under enormous pressure to all take it.

Expand full comment

We have not only been put under enormous pressure to have everyone get the shot, it has all been under false pretenses. Whatever the reason, it is NOT for our health.

My even bigger worry is that the jabs will have permanently compromised human immune systems and tptb will be able to offload the blame for injuries onto covid or something else, and it will be used to forcibly inject the last holdouts...and when the injuries are 100%, they'll claim it was the holdouts fault and use that to justify eliminating all choice in medical care including whether you want it at all.

Small businesses making up the majority of jobs - problem solved! The few largest corporations are back in control!

Booming employment, which lead to increasing pay and increasing labor costs for the largest corporations - SOLVED!

Stellar growth in middle class income and economic security - SOLVED!

Economic mobility through education, training and leading to more good paying jobs and fewer minimum wage jobs which lead to a reduction in numbers of people below the poverty level - SOLVED!

Stagnant inflation rates - SOLVED!

Not enough people on government assistance, totally dependent upon the generosity of federal spending - SOLVED!

Then we each of us would be doing us all service if we are clear as often as possible that;

I’m not satisfied that the diagnostic tests are good enough to unequivocally diagnose “covid19” from numerous other clinical conditions with substantially overlapping presentations.

Expand full comment

Sadly, I thought there might be “a really strong backlash” when “2 weeks to flatten the curve” dragged on 2+ years. I was frankly astonished, bewildered, blinkered, you name it - at how quickly & completely people joined in w/ masking, distancing, indiscriminate closure of restaurants & other businesses, lockdowns, mandates, eagerly rolling up for 1st jab, 2nd jab, booster, all w/ zero (or very little) backlash.

And now they’re conditioned for the next phase

Expand full comment

This is indeed a sad story. The question is, how many people are now awake, and how has "turning off COVID", combined with the steady drip of vaccine failure, awakened more people? There are also some courageous people who may inspire courage in others.

Somehow, this has to work or we are pretty screwed. If there is good news, I think in some ways they have been moving too quickly. So many things - the response to the Canadian Truckers, the handling of Ukraine, turning the fear operation on a dime from COVID to WWIII, are all things that are letting the mask slip.

Expand full comment

I agree w/ the “too quickly” & they don’t even pretend to hide it: you can find all sorts of videos by Schwab, Gates & their minions discussing great reset, scamdemics to come, etc. I bet Turdeau (not a misspell) really got called on the carpet w/ the bank freezing stunt & how quickly, completely & easily that can be done & how that might really alarm the plebs.

I have yet to have any of my liberal friends tell me they were wrong or have regrets & I haven’t asked because I’m not sure they’d be honest. But I can tell from comments on sites like this & others that there ARE many awakening or regret getting vax’d, etc. Hope springs eternal, but Nemesis, hurry up!

All depends on political usefulness.

The switch-flop-flip happen when polling numbers are showing that it's not helping poll numbers for an upcoming election.

November is looming. 2021 was a disaster of historic proportions. The economic damage done to turn the 2020 election accumulated, amplified 1000x by insane escalation of federal spending and even broader power grabs and constitution (and human rights) circumvention. Instant energy policy blockades that have made $6/gal gas seem a good deal (more than doubling cost in 1 year) and equivalent escalation in costs of other energy products have left people hurting. Real inflation is worse than we've seen in nearly 100 years - real as felt by real people. Your monthly bills, your basic needs, for a lot of people the last year has brought 100% increases. By any objective metric, economic disaster.

If the election were held two weeks ago, The Party that brought us all this would lose in impressive flames. The real "accomplishments" of the last year (Joe did promise to make it worse, remember) have to be turned into "wins". Somehow. Make people ignore all that.

Being honest or accurate won't do it. So hang on kids, this is going to get interesting!

Her twitter thread on vaccines from December 2020 is full of all kinds of inaccurate stuff, by today's standards. You know, stuff that could be called mis- and disinformation or just plain old lying to the American people....

As a physician and epidemiologist I never entertained saying the vaccines were safe nor effective. The trials were underpowered and the 95% effective against infection mantra was just not palatable to me to spread. The vaccine safety surveillance system is archaic except for the extremely biased V-safe system.

Plenty of random people doing this, but for a "public health official" to do this in a public capacity is, in my opinion, criminal. I saw something this morning that a woman who "died of covid" in 2020 after supposedly catching it from a school child, whose death was thoroughly sensationalized here in Chicago, turned out to have died from alcohol poisoning. So who originated the story that she died from covid? For a policymaker to knowingly use a fake story, fake data, etc. to push an agenda is no different than calling in a false bomb threat or CNN saying Iraqi troops were throwing babies out of incubators.

There are some grey areas for "truth" that you don't want to criminalize to protect free speech, but if an individual can sue for libel, why can't an entire country?

I get it - they destroyed our children, our businesses, and our peaceful society. But what are we to do with them now? If we had any power over these people, they would not have been able to do all this damage. What power do we have now? Sincere question.

Expand full comment

I don't think we have power, and I don't think we can get power. I've been studying this issue for a long time and I have come to the conclusion that most people are powerless. Why is a complex answer. One obvious answer is those that do have power tend to have more education and wealth than others; they also have the know-how to bend public opinion. The lower classes (poor/working poor) have always been powerless, voiceless and invisible. Now the middle class, which had been previously insulated from all this, is learning that they too are powerless, voiceless and invisible. Because we have nothing to bargain with. We hold no chips, no cards. We are not involved in the institutions that run our lives; we aren't even involved in local politics, which is where it all starts. We aren't organized, like the Marxists/Socialists/leftists. Even our churches are just figureheads, for the most part. They have no influence anymore. I go to church and I see people who are caught up in problems they don't know how to solve--but the people that DO know how to solve these types of problems, the people that CAN make things happen and cut through red tape, they either are not there or they are silent. All that can be offered are thoughts and prayers. Well, we have seen now how effective that is. So to answer your question, in order to get power we need to understand what it is, how it works, how the system works, and that takes a lot of work. For some of us it means stepping out of our comfort bubble and see how the rest of us really live. How the laws and systems are set up to favor the well-off and educated. The deck is really and truly stacked against us. I used to tell my neighbors in the trailer park that the absentee slumlord owner didn't care if we used drugs or drank or surfed the web for porn or played Candy Crush on our phones--that's exactly where he wanted us to be. What he DID NOT want is for his tenants to use the internet to learn what their rights were and what they could do about the situation. He wanted us ignorant and gullible and we readily complied.

I haven't worked out the mathematical model yet, but I think it might be expressed as N = K / F, where N is the number of "cases" needed to trigger school closures, K is a constant, and F is the Covidian's fear level (0 to 10). So if the fear level is great (say, 10), it takes fewer "cases" to close schools than if the fear level is low.

It is left as an exercise for the reader to describe mathematically the relationship between fear level and propaganda intake.

Higher education has gotten a lot lower over the past 40 to 50 years. Yes there are plenty of people who actually learn all kinds of things because of self motivation but many, many people with degrees know jack shit. This has devalued degrees.

For example, during a visit to a public librarary branch in the afternoon two days ago (8th March), I noticed that almost everyone was wearing a mask. Most patrons, even the people who looked homeless, were masked. All of the library staff on the floor were masked, although the security guard had hers on her chin when I entered. Among perhaps 20 people, I saw just two others who were unmasked in the proper way. One is a middle aged white male, and the other, a white girl of about 8. The missing link: revisionist history combined with suppression of inconvenient truths as "misinformation" or "extremists propaganda". When you quote someone's past statements the can and will claim you made that up - that the "tweet" copied was fraudulently fabricated by some right wing extremist conspiracy.

Of course we've seen this before. Even before 2020. But this has been a mainstay of the last 2 years. A guy who has many patents and scientific publications on his work on mRNA technology is called "misinformation" because he questions the validity of how the technology is being characterized by the media and politicians. Everyone who was critical of Trump's attempt to restrict entry from certain countries (OK I'll say it - China) in late 2019 did a 180 by March 2020. WHO had on their website a recommendation that governments invoke travel restrictions. The day Trump suggested some, WHO took that recommendation down and said travel restrictions were NOT warranted. Pretty much at every step this kind of flip flop fraud has been like gravity: it is inevitable and never fading. This is of course just one of many, many types of fraud that have become the mainstream methodology.
