I am sure Popper didn't intend for sociopaths to take his ideas and run a global NGO to create obedient robotic individuals, but here we are. The problem of Popper and friends is that they looked over their right shoulder fearing the rise of nationalistic fascism, but not truly over their left shoulder to see what unbridled Marxism unleashed.

We probably need another name for the "elites" to signify their basic love of communism. All communist movements used an "underclass" to gain political or societal advantage; then threw them by the wayside once their goals were accomplished.
