Why do people want global governance? Local municipalities can’t even agree, let alone at the state and federal level. How many times have we all seen the headline in local newspapers about corruption in local/state/federal government? Whether in the EU or in America or elsewhere, how many more examples do we need that human nature is self-serving and who runs the government? The bigger the government = bigger corruption - always.
Because most people are pathetic slaves who hate the responsibility and risks that come with personal freedom. That was my take-away lesson from the Covid fiasco.
When you look at Covid-19 as the global human experiment that Covid was, Solomon Asch could have predicted the outcome in the 1950s. In his conformity experiment, only 10%-30% of the people are strong enough in their own opinions/beliefs that they won’t conform to what they know is wrong, while the majority (mob) – conform, no matter how outlandish the idea. It’s crazy to think that nearly 70% bow down to mob opinion.
Apparently, that's what they were measuring. Also, it was a system test, checking for extent and strength of the web, while looking for weak spots and resistance.
absolutely! If you are in a small villages at least you know the wrongdoers personally and can block them. Or move to the next one over. If you are in a large one there is no stopping, avoiding or blocking them.
Why do you presume that is what “people” want? Bigger and bigger governments are advantageous for some people (those who already have power, prestige & privilege).

Good point - big government is advantageous to those who spend other people's money.
But a government big enough to give you all you want is also the government that can take it all away.
People want global givernance because they imagine that their way will dominate.
aaaahhh. I learned one more word today, a great one!
givernance!
thank you.
