I don't think that the ongoing mRNA work was hammered. What RFK Jr did was stop the federal funding of such work. He stopped the government money going to the programs, but the programs have absolute carte blanche to continue all avenues of "research" and "distribution" with private investor's funding. The harm has not been undone, but wildly amplified, in my humble opinion, unfortunately.
Zeroing out $500M of funding is quite the hammer. It doesn’t seem like there is very much private money going into these efforts. There is no law against funding private research or against the development of the mRNA platform.
That's my point. There is no law against the mRNA platform, and there should be, at a bare minimum, super strict restrictions or guidelines on such a devastating technology. And I mean devastating on the recipient's immune system behalf. I am witness to that very fact every single day in my immediate rural entourage.
Indeed. That's why it's never going to get done. It gets diluted along the way by too many divergent opinions on the subject, not to mention all the paid and bought said opinions as well. Never going to get done, even if you petition Congress until you're blue in the face.

You need to take that up with Congress. That’s where they make laws.
