1) A GONGO appears and defines itself as an expert in {insert social issue here]

2) Media quote GONGO on [recent narratively/politically correct issue]

3) GONGO becomes official source of knowledge and thus arbiter of how certain words/terms are defined and delineated (such as "right-wing extremist")

4) Repeat steps 1-3 until sufficient no. of GONGOs make it seem the issue is immediate and a threat (climate change f.e.)

5) Government and supra-state organisations now have a sound basis for the makings of new laws and taxes, referncing the GONGOs

Rant:

I know I'm on repeat here, but in Sweden and other provinces of the EU, the above is enough for a hefty fine. Another comment of mine up-thread is grounds for prison, up to two years.

That "couldn't happen here" the experts said in the 1980s when the Jewish lobby (yes, really) managed to get the first hate speech law on the books; the reason was they wanted to be able to silence bonafide genuine article neo-nazis who were allied to expat Arabs from Palestine and who were whipping up hate and violence among, well, neo-nazis (all 300 or so of them, acc. to out State Sec. police at the time) and Arab/other moslems (a couple of thousands at the time).

Boy howdy has that come back to bite the Swedish Jews in the ass in later years. Now, they are the ones that may be charged for hatespeech when they support the IDF in almost-but-not-really ethnic cleansing in Gaza, because...

...1 500 000 moslems' votes are woth more than a few thousand Jewish ones, despite said Jewish ones being from the upper crust of society.

I mean, not even a mock-lynching of dolls dressed up as KZ-prisoners performed at a pro-Hamas rally a few weeks ago led to arrests or even anyone being charged. If a mock-lynching "doesn't count" as hate-mongering because politics...

What's that phrase? Use the 2nd to defend the 1st?

You really need to see that's not just words, America, or you'll be the new UKSwedenGermanyBelgiumFranceIreland in a few years.
