There is a certain arrogance to medical students, somewhat tempered by figuring out that the working nurses have more experience and knowledge at that stage. This is similar to rookie officers and sergeants in the army.
Medical students are indoctrinated from the beginning of training to believe in the beauty of vaccines. Possibly 3% of my colleagues have been able to approach this critically, or even know about failed vaccines or vaccine harms. I struggled for a couple of decades to figure out the hazard of "Hyperimmunisation" from Smallpox vaccines, but I did find an estimate of one per million deaths from the injections. So, the unquestioning acceptance of experimental mRNA injections when defined as "Vaccines" by medical people was an expected part of the programme.
If you have upper level students, perhaps assign some readings for discussion; McFarland, G et al: doi.org:10.1016/j.temb.2019.126444.
There are good replies for both, and a corrigendum to McFarland to promote the debate; the establishment does not approve of questioning the received dogma.
For less advanced students, have them search the 2021 incidence of sudden death in professional soccer (football) players and suggest a mechanism, with comparison to previous annual averages (~ 4.1 most years.)
Best of luck.
In my resignation letter I wrote that anyone driving in a car alone wearing a mask was not competent to give informed consent for am experimental injection.
Thank you much for the advice and resources. I will read them for my own knowledge as my medical students are first year Japanese medical students. The system here is that they go to med school right out of high school. med school in Japan is 6 years. Most of what I do is just give them guided practice in conversing in English. At one school we have a public speaking course for the second semester. I am a simulated patient for their upper year students. Gall stones next week. At another school we teach how to conduct medical interviews in English and listening and readings on medical topics chosen by the school.
I feel the same about anyone who promotes this madness as being unqualified to make any decision for anyone. Have I shared the Covid safety procedures all connected to the hospital and medical schools are to follow?
