the memes before christmas

an open memepool for everyone

t’was the night before christmas and surprises were coming

and songs would be sung

to get even goths humming.

we put in their place elves too big for their britches

as it seemed only just because

and so stories were read

and mysteries unraveled

for those who stayed home

and for those who had travelled.

though we may not be gifted with peace in our time

we can always gift others a piece of our mind

and it’s not always funny

so don’t you dare laugh

but for holiday wishes,

in the end it’s just math.
