I’m one of those who recognizes the threat but who has very limited means to work on objectives beyond immediate survival. If you know of any way I can contribute, I’m willing to help however I can. I’m a pretty good writer, I guess, when I’m focused.
I do want to survive, provided that option doesn’t require that I surrender liberty. The staggering changes coming will be daunting and the prospect going forward very challenging. But I’m bound to prepare as well as I can against such hardships with a view toward not simply survival but charity if I have plenty and friends are in need. Of all times, it’s in the coming trials that I would hope to acquit myself as honorably and as charitably as I’m able. I guess we’ll see how that goes…
The censorship and division tactics you mentioned—part of the color revolution we’re being subjected to—have indeed been effective. This country has never been so fractured, politically. In the Civil War era, there were just State’s Rights with slavery and Federalism with abolition. The fractious on the Left today are employing racial, gender, transgender, climate, vax status, masking, abortion, inflation, war—all of these and other issues to keep public opinion from coalescing against a central threat. So efforts to unite around the cause are largely stymied. But still worth the trouble, I hope.
I live in Texas, in a national forest—a patchwork of public and private land—on the homestead my grandfather bought during WWII, in the house he built. My plan here is to simply establish a life-sustaining homestead, or rather, re-establish one. It’s coming along despite some difficulties—new chicks hatching out, fruit trees doing well, some veggies growing. A stocked pond. My grandparents would’ve done better, but their whole world was geared to this kind of life.
I have long hoped that other family members would see the value in reviving the homestead, but no dice.
Hundreds of miles of county and Forest Service roads to ride. Perfect setting for dual sport bikes. You and your bike are welcome any time.
You’ve an excellent base there, by the sounds of it. I’m guessing you’re either younger or fitter than me (or both). Lord, for some forward clarity! I’d love to visit & ride the trails, get some practical things done.
A key part of survival in my view is that there are people with you, of like mind.
The destabilization that the “elites” are bringing about could easily spiral into substantial loss of advanced manufacturing. For example, most first world countries don’t make pharmaceuticals anymore. Tollers make raws & drug substance in bulk on the cheap & other contract manufacturing outfits formulate & pack. I have severe doubts that we can slightly unwind globalisation without the entire co-dependent system coming apart.
It could be a very long wait for resupply of generic medicines. Since our retail pharmacies hold so little stock, serious shocks & open ended discontinuities seem likely to me.
We might assume the WEF types are awash with throbbing brains working on all this. I’ve seen their slide decks, though. They look like like BCG, E&Y, pwc bullshit I spent years in corporate trying to avoid, all high level with no detail.
As for riding, you are welcome to my humble—and I do mean humble—home any time, and these roads do beckon. However the heat indices (106F today) are rather daunting and will be for some time. Of course, a thirty mile-an-hour breeze on a shady stretch of dirt road will soften the heat. But fall is the best time of year here. The scenery isn’t spectacular, like farther out west, but woodlands have their own appeal. If you like fishing, there are some very good lakes and ponds.
The way I see it, every positive memory we can build in this apparently doomed civilization’s waning days will be a priceless treasure.
Yes, being around like-minded people, community, will be essential for any hope of well-being. Sadly, people are often prickly personalities. And not everyone—me included—is good at navigating some social settings. But I have hope that a small cell of good-willed people will form here.
Dr Chris Martenson did a video some months ago on the inevitability of supply chain destruction. People have no idea what’s going to hit them. I only wish to be reasonably well set up and able to make some contribution to the well-being of the cell/community. At the least, I hope not to starve. Not succumbing to future pandemics is another aspiration.
Sorry to say, the terms you used to describe the WEF materials, “BCG, E&Y, pwc”—totally beyond me (I couldn’t function in the corporate work environment. I tried.)
I wonder if the WEF, with all their fantastic plans and schemes are actually convincing themselves that they are doing good. That video they put out, the “you’ll own nothing and be happy” video was all fluff. Like there is no downside to what they’re doing. Was that just meant to assuage their own elitist consciences?
