so, while, yeah, clearly we inhabit clown world, amidst all the endless bread and circuses, a “mr. cynical paws” kind of cat might be temped to observe:
why, it’s almost as if the media/government complex is seeking to hide how vulnerable the state is to uprisings and how far out of step these ersatz bio-fascist dictators have become with the mood of the people.

That’s because the US media, at this point, actively supports tyranny. It’s where their bread is buttered (plus many of them, as individuals, have totalitarian streaks of their own). They are literally the state media, little different from China’s.
I intellectually understood the phrase "the Revolution will not be televised" but it wasn't until this year that I really *got* it
