Well, I don't stand to lose much! ;-)

I won't, but I could write chapters on why I think DJT is *not* the danger he is made out to be, despite totally agreeing with much of his personal detractions. I doubt I would ever want to, or could, befriend him, but since when is being everybody's bestie a presidential requirement. And that the narcissist needs validation is *exactly* what will keep him on the *People's* leash, not the Deep state's.

I only here urge all my fellow Randians/Capitalists(true-not-crony)/Classical-Liberals/Constitutionists/libertarians/conservatives/free-thinkers to vote policy, not personality, and remember that we need to depose these Democrat Fascists before we lose everything we hold dear, and must start taking to the streets in rebellion, which would be the worst, most hellish outcome of all (mostly because then it will take decades, if not centuries to rebuild Western Civilization).

I am not sure where you got the idea that I want Trump to be my "bestie". I was simply and strictly critiquing his qualities as a leader. And in that, he is sorely lacking.

And as I said, I voted for him twice and will do so again, assuming he is on the ticket. Now, if he picks a VP that is a gun grabber or worse (Tulsi Gabbard and Nikki Haley come to mind) I might sit this one out.

As for his desperate need for validation, it is from whom he seeks validation that is the crux of the problem. If some poser, (and there were many in 45's White House) gives Trump the pat on the back, the atta boy, your doing AWESOME Donny boy, he gives them positions of power and they undermine the MAGA agenda.

One other thing, if Jared Kushner is still Trump's #1 adviser I will be inclined to sit it out as well. Plus, since I am in a blue state with all mail voting, my vote won't be worth s***.

But the larger point I was making was that if we are to prevent the Commies from taking this country completely (and I can make a very good case that they already have) DJT just isn't the man for the job. We will need someone more resolute and less in need of constant stroking.

I didn't mean to imply that, M. Griffith. Sorry I miswrote a general complaint I have about voters in general who vote on personality, or only if a candidate is perfect.

I just don't see him picking Haley or Gabbard.

But, respectfully and imo, I do think you commit a common error of assuming the non-politician, private sector person of 2016 is unchanged/uneducated by being chewed up, taken advantage of, and spit out by our overbearing, Fascist/Commie State. Is it out of the realm of possibilty that DJT will be better advised?

What did Kushner do that was so egregious?

Also, please vote! Final totals matter, even in a loss!! Is this why the Dems have been winning the popular vote tally, because people throw up their hands and withdraw their vote?

You, our host, and most posters/readers in this forum might be completely right, but I still don't think so. I still think the un-capturable DJT is our teflon warhorse.

But, until November 5, my mind is open...

Read this piece by Peter Navarro on the damage that Kushner did to the Trump agenda. Kushner was constantly pulling DJT to the left.

Thank you. I remember reading that article now. Yes, Kushner is a worry, especially as family.

But, there will be many newer and better advisors, and Kushner is now not an unknown.

Do you happen to know if Navarro is still, or will be, on the Trump team? You don't need to respond, I can research.
