I think someone high profile has to ask Elon publicly. At least that's what happened in the cases of not so famous people being reinstated so far. I'm not saying el gato is not so famous, but i have no idea what his Twitter handle even was, so it's in that ballpark, for me. Since i can't see how many followers he had, i can't determine how popular he was, tho, ofc.
berenson was a special case due to his lawsuit around some specific promises made to him by twitter.

ES is still on and I have never seem him get kicked off, although now he goes by THE Random Dude, which is hilarious.

I don’t know either, I just remember him being named as one of the biggest sources of covid misinfo in an MIT study (of all things).
Musk will reinstate you and virtually everyone else for the reasons you point out.
The bigger question for me, is when you do get Twitter access again; how much time are you going to split between there and Substack?
I hope your essays and so forth are all available on Substack and not split between the two platforms.
