I have been on the "disagreement is not hate" train for a long time before Covid hit. I saw the way it creeped into everyday language. When I criticized the latest Star Wars sequels, for instance, I was told to "not be a hater." Continue to level criticism on any content from a fandom can get you banned. So imagine how receptive people are against having their policies questioned.

I read today a bit about someone who attended a "vaccine conference" and not surprised they found out that a big topic was "misinformation." Most pro vaccine conference attendees couldn't see the forest for the trees" so to speak. Thinking that the best way to deal with vaccine hesitancy is to silence the voices of those who were vaccine injured. Why do they imagine people are being hesitant.

The weird idea that people will not fear because of the absence of something is also ridiculous. How do they think some of us caught on early about the pandemic? It is because they saw "the absence of a differing opinion." Throw something as non controversial as a stick, as the meme goes, and people will still argue about it. So how suspicious do you think some people will get when there is no other argument than "it is a stick." There at least needs to be the one crackpot who says "it is a dinosaur bone" because we know that crackpot exists.

We used to see many drug ads each day filled with side effects and other possible things that can result as taking that drug. Yet now we have one that is "safe and effective" and has no downside at all? And you want me to believe that most VAERS data is fake, and that all of it is the result of "anti-vaxxer" agenda. What they still don't realize is I am still pointing at death rates and asking why a vaccine was necessitated at all.

I used to play a game called "make believe" as a kid and I understand something contrived when I see it.
