This entire time my most important question has gone unanswered: If my doctor and I both think Ivermectin can help, why is that anybody else's business?

Don't forget that "we" are all in this together, so "we" need to have control over every aspect of your life.

all reason and thinking went away with c19.

seems patient/md relations are controlled by the collective using covid to change the social contract

Is your doctor prevented from prescribing Ivermectin?

I hope they trialing HCQ in combination with Azythromycin. Seperately, no effect. In combination, could block both pathways into the cell: ace receptor, and the other one (you can tell, I'm not a virologist).

Why do they blame the unvaccinated when the fully vaxxed infect the fully vaxxed?

Why do they continue to push the jabs when they've just admitted they don't work as advertised?

Why are they advocating another dose of the jab for last year's virus to protect against next year's virus?

Why do they continue to advocate for "vaccine passports" when they've just admitted the jabs don't prevent infection or transmission?

Why do they push mandates when they've just admitted the jabs don't prevent infection or transmission?

Why are they claiming that the Delta variant is more dangerous when the data from the UK clearly show it is less deadly?

on cape cod the demographic is one susceptible to aids, maybe the vaxx is not useful for immuno suppressed

my (over 70 yoa) bet here on i will not do a booster, i will do good personal health and add quercetin if the cases spike nearby

It's neither. It's like minded thinking on the part of deranged collectivists who have suffered in silence for years due to social isolation brought on by the proliferation of personal high tech devices. It's a mental health crisis involving half of the population. Individualists are clueless because they're uniquely wired for social isolation. Collecivists are hurting, and this is the inevitable backlash, a desperate attempt at unity. Sadly though, this isn't going to heal them. It'll only spread their misery to individualists. What they desperately need is community and social connection on a personal level, a sense of belonging on a group level, not virtual. I don't think they know this. They only know they are anxious (easily mistaken for fear) and unfulfilled, and they're lashing out in the only way they know how.

I see UK data from the last interim report and having no effect in slowing infection among 50% (slightly negative actually) and 20% in under 50.

Overall VE on severe infections is still robust at ~70% in both groups though its declining.

Adjusted CFR is about 1/3 of Alpha on similar testing.

that seems roughly right, but it's only half the equation.

one must also consider the risks and adverse events from the vaccines.

it's odd to me that people are focusing so myopically on only one side of the risk/benefit equation.

i suspect "cases" as defined by "positive PCR" are just a bad metric.

vaccines do look to mitigate severe covid and death.

that's not really the question.

the question is "at what price?" and "is there a better way to accomplish much the same?"

"crony capitalism"

I wish people would stop using this phrase. What we are enduring now is a permutation of the form of socialism invested by Mussolini, which he preferred to call "corporatism", for which "fascism" and "national socialism" are synonyms.

This bears no resemblance to actual capitalism, which basically comes down to a free market where people voluntarily transact with each other without coercive interference or control by the State.

Using the term capitalism to describe a form of socialism is deceptive and smears an economic system that is responsible for nearly all the progress and wealth in the world.

This may seem like a minor quibble, but language is important, especially in the face of the all-out assault by the left on truth and any unapproved freedom of economic or personal behavior.

We should not play their game and insist on the proper meaning of words.

Right at the start of this, my first thought was 'so how long has this thing been around?' Since then no one seems to have done any real work on that. The second was, 'so what therapeutics can we use?', as there are plenty with strong potential. Then all we saw was active suppression of any attempts at this.

If there is any conspiracy in this, that is where it sits.

Everything you write has so much common sense to it. I wish I could get people to listen, especially my husband's employer. Funny thing is, he's an academic at a university and they are telling him he has to take the jab when he's already had covid. Can't make this up. Supposedly smart people with 3 letters after their names, won't consider any research he provides them on immunity derived from natural infection. It's get the jab or you lose your job. I can't believe this is America.

Zimbabwe solved Covid with Ivermectin. Jackie Stone is my hero. We all know Big Pharma would have lost their EUA if Ivermectin had been approved. Moderna specifically would have gone insolvent. The fear of losing everything is even greater than the greed of making billions.

Sensing the end of their reign of terror the media whores are in full throttle today with two different stories (one written by the NYT and trafficked by their estimable acolytes at "Yahoo News") about people who derided the vaccines and must now pay for their apostasy with their lives. Not a word about any other factors involved (obesity being one) for that would adulterate the clear message: this is what you get when you look up the ass of the Almighty. The propaganda has reached DEFCON 5 and my mind that's a good thing.

This needs to be a clear and resounding victory for Universal Collectivist Humanism, in which everyone in a member. Using old drugs and people doing different things muddled the picture.
