I for one am cool with "celebrity opinions." These days it is becoming fairly obvious who to steer clear of. Let them and encourage them to talk. Sadly though, it also limits entertainment options. I don't know if I will ever watch Arnold Schwarzenegger again. All the ones that came out during Covid and even before who spoke their truth. Aaron Paul, Bryan Cranston, Gene Simmons, Jennifer Anniston, Tom Hanks. These are the ones that came to mind in five seconds. Not to mention Howard Stern.
IsnтАЩt it odd how these actors canтАЩt keep their foolish mouths shut when theyтАЩre off the stage/set? HasnтАЩt anyone told them that they are alienating at least half their audience? I suppose not. How extremely out of touch does one have to be. Actors, with few exceptions, deserve their reputation for stupidity. ItтАЩs a shame, as I would have liked to watch Breaking Bad againтАж
A lot of these people came from the dreges of society. They are ignorant uneducated <not even high school>. Then the epsteins show up with tons of money and mickey dunce buys it wholesale. It truly is putting a begger on horseback and he rides to Hell.
I would never recommend banning anything. If you can live with it, definitely watch it. It's just I have a hard time watching Goodfellas now because it's hard to compartmentalize the Robert Dinero the actor from the character they are playing.
A lot of Hollywood came out in favor of the vax. You can count on one hand those who didn't (Rob Schneider for example). I certainly would be more in favor of promoting and supporting those who did have the guts to think critically in the face of so much pressure to capitulate and comply.
Schneider yes, and a few others. None of the big names came out against it, near as I can recall. Fran Drescher, as president of SAG, during the strike defended people who didn't want to get the vax, if I remember correctly. She's well known but still not a big name.
IтАЩm afraid that when actors spout their idiotic views in real life I find it difficult to suppress my thoughts about how they said such and such ridiculous, damaging thing as IтАЩm trying to concentrate on their make-believe.
I would expect them to say nothing. I would be happy to never hear from Paris Hilton ever again.

Even Vince Gilligan came out in favor of the Covid vax.
Not sure why you feel the need to boycott BB unless seeing Cranston makes you physically ill.

They will always "say something". It's how they try to stay relevant, which is the only real pursuit of celebrities.
How awesome would it have been if some of them said "You know, I don't know so my hot take is...i don't know."
Yeah, but you know they won't - unless it's James Woods.
