it would still limit your freedom and render you dependent on the government or on their private proxies like airlines and mass transport to renew your license to live your life.
if they fail to do so, you’re automatically “cancelled.” this is not the thin end of a wedge you can allow to go in. it’s the start of taking ALL your rights and leaving you unable to travel or even possibly to work without permission.
rebranding tyranny as “right sizing your liberty” does not make it any better. it just makes it more dishonest; because that’s what tyrants do.
